We need to have self-esteem if we are to reach our potential. School, with its series of challenges and achievements, can be extended to life. Think about how good you feel when someone compliments you; think about how good you feel when someone doesn't. Do you feel the same? How much more easily are you able to complete a task when you feel confident doing it and know your own strength? How excited do you feel, knowing the next thing you'll achieve?
